Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club is located twenty minutes drive from Walt Disney World. First established in 1993, this friendly community area offers 700 homes around the multi award winning Southern Dunes Golf Course. This peaceful community area, regularly maintained and improved by the local community's 'residents association', offers a country feel through its fishing lake and trees that line the quiet roads ideal for safe walks or jogs.

Within the community there are three large swimming pools, two tennis courts and a small children's play area with swings and slides. Nearby are two large supermarkets and a petrol station operating 24 hours having everything you need, especially for those seeking supplies to plan a picnic.
 
The golf club supply's a bar and restaurant, open all day, serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner to members and non members. The golf course is built on a hill and has won multiple awards. With undulating greens and more than 150 bunkers of different shapes and sizes, each hole provides a '5 tee' colour indication of yardage and steepness of slopes, for instance the black tee's total distance is 7,272 yards. On the course you will also find various other hazards such as shrubs and trees rather than water. The course offers something for golfers of all ability. In addition to the Golf Club's golf course there is also a driving range, putting green and shop. It is recommended to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
